"Soft Opening" starts Tuesday, 10/3, for Presale Students!


I'm excited to say that the gym is just about there! I have a few big updates to share.

๐ŸŽ‰ Classes start this Tuesday, 10/3, for Presale Students Only - We won't be ready for the full launch this week, but the floor is down and the mats are ready to roll on, so we are doing a "Soft Opening" starting Tuesday! Since we are still finalizing a few things in the space, we are going to keep next week's classes limited to presale students only. If you haven't participated in the presale yet, there are still some offers available here.

๐Ÿ“… "Soft Opening" Schedule and Details - Tomorrow you'll hear from our Director of Operations regarding next week's "Soft Opening" class schedule for presale students. We've introduced new billing and scheduling software, so this upcoming week will allow us to ensure all of our systems are working with our most dedicated patrons, giving you the opportunity to be the first on the mat!

๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ What to Expect from Me as Your Coach: Over the past 27 years I've been coaching people in movement, including gymnastics, AcroYoga, kids physical education (PE), circus arts (juggling), personal training (Crunch Fitness), kettlebell certification, and of course, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Over the past 3 decades I've honed a uniquely effective teaching style that delivers incredible results for my students. In my classes, jiu-jitsu transcends beyond being merely a martial art. I incorporate cardio workouts, calisthenics, heightened body awareness/ control drills, self-defense and of course the specific jiu-jitsu techniques that have helped me win countless competitions. This is an opportunity to embark on this movement journey with me right from the beginning, and it's an open invitation for everyone. No prior experience is necessary.

We anticipate a significant number of brand-new adult newcomers, so I will lead an adult beginner program for 12 weeks, dedicating a week to each topic and then repeating the cycle every six weeks. This is a great time for you to start training, and it's even more fun if you bring a friend! The biggest advice I can give is to take it slow. There's no rush at all. Give your body time to acclimate to the new movement patterns and jiu-jitsu techniques.

๐Ÿฅณ Official Grand Opening Party now Saturday, Oct 7th - Save the updated date for our official grand opening celebration! It will be on Saturday, October 7th at 12:30 pm, following all of the morning classes. More details about this event will be sent out via email soon. There will be music, food, and jiu-jitsu!
